It's about a mother mouse whose name is Mrs Frisby and whose husband died.
But what happens when she is sent to see an owl and the rats of NIMH?

I think that 7, 8 and 9 year olds should read this book because it's a story for those ages and because of the moral which is to be brave and never give up.
