I watched this film. It was funny. They people in it are crazy, they put crazy masks on and talk funny. Watching a version dubbed in Russian with English subtitles made it strange, because I can’t read. Ultimately, the characters are naïve in their belief that a true international revolution could come from the likes of a bunch of middle-class French quasi-intellectuals, but their devotion to the great chairman Mao makes you still want them to win (even if they really are still Capitalist Roaders). Mommy thought it was boring.
